Ian Oxley is an artist based in London and Southwold. He paints horizons in Southwold, Yorkshire, and Naples.

“In some ways I aim to modernise the approach of Turner with some pigments he didn’t have access to like fluorescent magenta. I also use light in a slightly different way to most artists, as photography with live light is part of my process for some of my work. Therefore images of my artwork I post digitally may or may not be the same as the underlying painted work. I am modernising the use of light in painting by incorporating photography and digital effects. I paint primarily oil and acrylic on canvas. Commissions are available and all proceeds are given to education charities.”
